Careers with Focused Health Care

At Focused Health Care, we aim to provide a working environment that is rewarding, challenging and fulfilling. We value quality, integrity, compassion, respect, hope and we look for team members who not only align with our values, but want to help us deliver them every day.

Our team members have a genuine interest in the well-being and inclusion of people with disabilities. Furthermore, we have a zero-tolerance approach to abuse and neglect and are committed to child safety.

Every day we work to improve the lives and autonomy of people who need our help. These are the values we live by:

  • Quality

  • Integrity

  • Compassion

  • Respect

  • Hope

What we offer

  • Variety of working hours and locations, including the ability to work close to home.
  • A rewarding role. Take the time to truly connect with clients. We are not a giant provider who will shuffle you between different clients constantly, and you’ll have much more time to develop a quality clinical relationship than you would in a hospital or aged care environment. Go home at the end of the day knowing that you’re making a difference in people’s lives.
  • Investment in your personal development. We offer free educational courses through our LMS, and support for employees undertaking further studies. As part of our commitment to helping our staff to grow and excel, we employ Registered Nurses (RN) who can train, assist, guide, and help develop our team of RNs and ENs through professional mentorship.
  • Diversity. At Focused Health Care, we welcome and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
  • A personalised approach. We are a small provider run by Registered Nurses, meaning that we operate with an intrinsic understanding of the needs of our clients and staff. We have great management and an innovative flat management structure. You can approach management for support and advice, as well as having your say. You’ll be a valued member of the team, and you’ll have the chance to build significant, ongoing working relationships with your regular portfolio of clients.
  • Dedication to building a world-class culture. Great culture leads to excellent service and happy staff. We hire people who embody our values and structure our decisions around how to build one of the best cultures in the business.
