Finding the right care package

If you haven’t applied for a package yet, there are a few avenues for you to consider.
If you are under 65, you may be eligible for a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) package. If you are over 65, you will likely be eligible for a Home Care Assistance Package.

If you need support understanding your options, please call one of our friendly team on 1300 201 351.

Once you have your funding plan locked in, you will be able to partner with a provider to deliver your services.

What is an NDIS provider?

NDIS providers are an organisation, business or sole trader who is registered to deliver NDIS services.  You may find some providers have different areas of experience and expertise. Providers can be large companies, small not-for-profits, or individuals.

It is important to find a provider who meets your individual needs and who is registered. NDIS registered providers are regulated by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. This means they must adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct.

Focused Health Care is a NDIS registered provider operating in Queensland. We are able to support people of all abilities and needs with in-home care. Contact us today to find out more.

What is an aged care provider?

An aged care provider is a small business, company or sole trader who is registered to provide aged care services. This can include residential aged care, flexible care or in-home care.

All aged care service providers must be registered and are required to adhere to the guidelines governed by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

Aged Care providers can support you in your home with funding streams including a Home Care Package Program.
